Grow the company. Keep the company.
Growth capital from $10 million to $100 million+, structured as non-controlling debt. No shares sold. No board seat for the capital provider. You stay the one who decides.
Qualify My DealVerification, not application. Nothing moves forward without your approval.
Sound Familiar?
- The business has grown year after year. The plan for the next three years is clear. The capital to do it is not.
- Your bank approved a facility, but it covers a fraction of what the plan needs.
- Private equity is interested, but they want a board seat, a big stake, and an exit date that isn't yours.
- You have heard the stories: founders replaced by their own boards, owners who sold a piece and lost the company, term sheets that looked fine until the final documents arrived.
- Venture debt and revenue-based financing came with covenants, warrants or a cost that eats the growth they were meant to fund.
- You don't want a partner. You want capital.
You built this company. Taking on capital shouldn't mean handing it over.
What This Is
Structured growth capital is debt designed around your growth plan and your revenue. It is not equity. The capital provider lends against what the business already has: contracts, recurring revenue, intellectual property, real estate or equipment. You keep your ownership and your seat at the head of the table.
AltFunds Global engineers the capital stack after the first approval. If your bank has approved part of what you need, that facility stays in place. We work on the rest. For example, a company approved for $5 million that needs $45 million more to carry out its plan.
AltFunds Global is an independent consulting firm. We are not a bank, lender, broker-dealer, fund or registered financial adviser, and we do not hold client funds. We help you structure, prepare and position the file. Financing decisions are made by independent capital providers globally.
What a structure can include:
- Capital from $10M to $100M+ through independent capital providers
- Non-dilutive, non-controlling terms: no equity changes hands
- Flexible collateral. Hard assets: real estate, equipment. Soft assets: IP, recurring revenue, royalties. Contracts: long-term agreements, subscriptions.
- Tranches that scale as growth milestones are met
- Structures tailored to your growth plan and designed to adapt if challenges arise
An Illustrative Example
A technology company with $15M in annual recurring revenue wants to grow without diluting its founders. A European capital provider structures a $25M facility against that recurring revenue. The founders keep their shares and their board.
Illustrative only. Not a real client, and not a promise of any outcome.
Who It's For
This is built for established, growing mid-market companies. It is not for startups.
You may qualify if:
- You can show 3+ years of consistent revenue growth
- You have a clear 1–3 year growth plan
- Your leadership team has proven experience
- You are seeking $10M or more in growth capital
- You can offer collateral: real estate, equipment, recurring revenue, IP, royalties or contracts
This is for verified operating businesses and principals with complete documentation, a credible use of funds, and a clear repayment or exit strategy. It is not a promise of financing or approval.
We do not provide advisory services to businesses in restricted industries.
How It Works
- Qualify your deal. Upload your documents through the Capital Concierge. Verification, not application: we confirm what is real before anything goes to a capital provider.
- Structure the stack. We map your growth plan, your existing facilities and your collateral into a structure that keeps control with you.
- Prepare and position. We build a complete, provider-ready file so the people deciding see the whole picture.
- Introduction to independent capital providers. Matched to your size, sector and collateral.
- You review every term. Nothing moves forward without your approval. If something doesn't sit right, pause anytime.
- Funding. The capital provider completes its review and, if approved, funds the facility. Tranches can follow as milestones are met.
What You'll Need
Have these ready before you start. Your documents should show the criteria above.
- Financial statements showing 3+ years of revenue history and growth
- Your 1–3 year growth plan, including how the capital will be used
- A summary of your leadership team and their track record
- Details of the collateral you are offering (property, equipment, contracts, subscription or recurring revenue data, IP or royalties)
- Details of any existing bank or lender facilities, including any partial approvals
- Your repayment strategy
The provider may ask for more during its own review.
Fees
AFG is paid when the bank, lender, or private equity source sends the funds. Success fees apply only to complete files. If the file is incomplete, preparation work is handled under a written advisory retainer, agreed before it begins.
Independent third-party costs, such as due diligence, escrow or legal, are disclosed separately in writing before you commit to them, when they are required. They are paid to those professionals, not to AFG.
Strategy call: $297, refunded at funded close. The fee is waived if you upload your documents through the Capital Concierge before the call.
Timeline
Typically 20 to 120 banking days, starting once the capital provider confirms your file is complete. The timeline depends on the provider's review and third-party checks. We don't guarantee timing.
Questions Owners Ask
Will I have to give up equity or a board seat?
No. These structures are non-controlling debt. The capital provider is a creditor, not an owner. You keep your shares and your role.
How is this different from private equity?
Private equity buys a stake and usually wants board seats, a say in big decisions and an exit on its schedule. Structured growth capital is repaid from the business. Once it is repaid, the provider is gone and you still own the company.
My bank already approved part of what I need. Does that count against me?
No. It often helps. We engineer the capital stack after the first approval: your existing facility stays, and we structure the remaining amount around it.
What's the catch with the terms?
Every term comes from the capital provider in writing, and you see it before anything is signed. Nothing moves forward without your approval, and you can pause anytime. If the final documents don't match what you agreed, you don't sign.
I've heard of upfront-fee scams. How do I know this is real?
Ask anyone you deal with how they get paid. AFG is paid when the bank, lender, or private equity source sends the funds. Third-party costs, when required, are disclosed in writing and paid directly to those professionals. We work on verification, not application, and we expect you to verify us too.
Do I need to sign a personal guarantee?
That is set by each capital provider during underwriting. Any requirement will be in the written terms for you to review before you commit.
Is approval guaranteed?
No. Financing decisions are made by independent capital providers after their own review. We prepare and position your file so it can be judged on its merits.
Is this for startups?
No. It is designed for mid-market and growth-stage companies with 3+ years of consistent revenue growth.
What if my plan changes along the way?
Structures can use tranches tied to milestones and are designed to adapt if challenges arise. Tell us early, and we will work with the provider on the next step.
I'm a broker. How are introductions handled?
Brokers receive 10% of AFG's fee on every closed broker-introduced deal, including broker-to-broker introductions. It is paid in writing via escrow.
