If your biggest customer stopped paying, how exposed would your business be?
A one-hour working session on protecting eligible business-to-business receivables against defined non-payment risk. Financing is conditional and secondary. Already-overdue cases are handled separately.
Apply or register by Friday, November 13th, 5:00 p.m. ET

Selling on payment terms creates exposure
A concentrated or large customer that becomes insolvent or fails to pay within the expected window can create a cash gap while the business's own obligations continue.
Many owners want a defined backstop so the business can continue trading without carrying the full downside of that exposure.
Trade credit insurance (also called accounts receivable insurance) placed over eligible business-to-business receivables typically covers a defined percentage of loss from buyer insolvency or protracted default, subject to approved credit limits, waiting periods, deductibles, and policy exclusions.
AltFunds Global is developing the assessment and coordination process that sits around this, under the working name Insurance Wrap: helping a business identify the exposure it wants addressed, preparing the information an insurer and (if relevant) a financing provider need, and making uncovered amounts, costs, responsibilities, and timing clear. AltFunds Global does not issue the insurance or provide the financing.
Who this is for
Complimentary place (subject to review)
For people with a relevant current or future receivables case, or professionals who can contribute. A short application, about three minutes.
USD 10 general admission
For anyone who wants to learn the mechanics, the questions to ask, and what to prepare. Direct registration, no case screening required.
Who may benefit
Businesses selling to other businesses on payment terms, with real, largely current and undisputed receivables, concentration or large-account exposure to address going forward, and a willingness to complete underwriting.
What it is not
- It is not a rescue for already-overdue or disputed invoices.
- It is not a bank guarantee, SBLC, or proof of funds.
- It is not debt forgiveness.
- Financing is not automatic. Insurance may support better financing terms, but any advance rate, eligibility, or facility is determined separately by a lender and remains conditional.
A practical checklist, the same for both routes
These are two presentations of the same session. Both routes receive the same checklist and session content. Cases can be discussed without naming the business if preferred.
Practical boundaries
Hypothetical illustration (insurance only, not an offer): $100,000 of eligible, not-yet-overdue receivables. Assume an insurer covers 85% of a defined loss. The remaining 15%, plus any amounts outside the approved limit, waiting period, deductible, or exclusions, stays with the business. Insurance itself does not advance cash. Any financing discussion is separate and conditional.
- Buyers must be approved and limits apply.
- Pre-existing overdue amounts, commercial disputes, and certain other risks are commonly excluded.
- There is usually a waiting period before a claim.
- The business generally continues normal credit management and collection.
Premiums and any separate AltFunds Global coordination fees are explained in the session; the USD 10 admission fee does not cover them.
